Jooste Cylinder & Pump Co (Pty) Ltd has been in existence for over 50 years, being established in 1967 by Mr CJJ Jooste, and was initially involved in the drilling and equipping of boreholes. This lead to the development of the Jooste cylinder. The company was sold to Mr Conleth Costigan in 2013 and has expanded considerably since then. The holding company now has several companies which specialize in all water related matters:
Jooste – Polycast
The casting of polyurethane water related products – i.e valves, non-return valves and float valves – is managed by Fanus le Roux, who has many years experience in the polymer and mould making industry.
Jooste Manufacturing
The in-house manufacturing is managed by Shaun Costigan, who has had extensive training in production systems and quality control.
